Batello Garden Design Ltd was founded in 2008 by Kevin Bale and Paul Cantello. Since then the business has gone on to design and build hundreds of gardens across the region.
As a company we are committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and quality workmanship. Our team craft original and creative gardens that are affordable, practical and perfectly tailored to you and your lifestyle.
Our work is mainly design and build of private gardens for clients throughout North Somerset, Somerset, Bristol and Bath. In recent years we have worked with other garden designers and other skilled professionals in order to achieve the highest possible standard of service and work.
Paul Cantello
Paul is part founder of Batello Garden Design in 2008. His love of gardens and desire to design led him to study Landscape Architecture and Garden Design to degree level. Paul is a qualified horticulturist with experience in all aspects of garden maintenance including commercial and domestic. Paul is responsible for all aspects of onsite projects management ensuring that both teams are delivering a outstanding service tailored to the client's needs.
We asked Paul what he most enjoys about his role.
'I feel very fortunate to be involved in the project right from start of the creative process, seeing my plans being built and the planting schemes taking shape. Finally I get to see a finished garden and a happy customer.'
Kevin Bale
Kevin is part founder of Batello Garden Design. Kevin works both on the landscaping side of the business and the office side of the business. His role is to support Paul with project management, contract administration, finance and accounts.
We asked Kevin to share what he loves about his role.
'I love the flexibility and variety of work that the role brings and seeing the completed gardens at the end for the client to enjoy.'
Pete Watkins
Pete is the kind of employee that every employer dreams to find. He has over 20 years' experience within the horticultural/construction industry and is highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of hard and sort landscaping. Pete is a extremely devoted and passionate about his profession and will work tirelessly to ensure your garden looks spectacular. Pete is passionate about show gardens and has previously helped create gold medal winning gardens at the RHS Chelsea flower show.

'The creativity, being outdoors and of course the clients and a good cup of tea!'
Dave Anderson
Dave is the newest member of the team. Having changed careers from a office job Dave is determined to develop his skills so he can one day become a skilled landscaper. Dave is also a digital media expert. He can be found with Both a spade in one hand and a camera in the other.
We asked Dave to share what he loves about his role.
